Manual High Makers

The students at Manual Training High School in Denver, Colorado studied more than just reading and writing. They became skilled and knowledgble in a range of practical subjects from dressmaking to building construction. Featured here are some of the school’s first students from 1900-1920.  Above, Manual Training girls model dresses they designed and made.
